Hardscaping

What counts as hardscaping, and what do we handle?

Hardscaping is the built part of a yard: stone, concrete and pavers rather than plants. We handle stone masonry, concrete and paver patios, walkways and front walks, retaining walls and yard drainage, and we pair them with fences, pergolas and outdoor kitchens. Retaining walls and patios both come up in our Google reviews.

Good to know

Why does drainage matter in a hardscape project?

Patios, walls and walkways change where water goes when it rains. If drainage isn’t planned, water can pool on the patio, run toward the house or push against a wall. We plan grading and drainage with the hardscape, so water moves away from the house and off the new work.

Service area

Where do we take on hardscaping?

Hardscaping takes us from Bluffview’s hillside lots to yards across Plano, Carrollton and Farmers Branch. Every city below has its own page with local permit contacts; inside Dallas, start with the City of Dallas permit page. If water collects anywhere in the yard, point it out at the estimate so drainage goes into the plan.
